May 31st! Me and the boys can't wait! First time I've ever hired a guide service....just wanna make sure my boys get on some fish...my brother-in-law tells me this guy is good...We'll see...

Only time I ever went with a guide was with my Dad when I was around 8-10, maybe younger, I barely remember it. Our guide was Alton Jones and he took us to Lake Limestone, caught like three fish. He gave us a raincheck and me and my old man went back with him but on Lake Whitney this time and I've never caught more fish than I did on that trip. Pops still has a pic.

Thanks! I'm really looking forward to it. I'll make sure to take pics....I'm more of a spinning reel type...but I do love the Chronarch!....Handled one just recently....Couldn't talk the wifey into it....and forget the Calcutta....I ain't rich!!!.....

I just dug up an old Shimano "hay baler" last night....forgot I had it...it's a beast...felt a little stiff so I may work on it some tonight and take it on our trip...leaving Friday....them specks and reds are in deep excrement with the Cams coming to town!!!....

Just got back a few hours ago....great trip!....Tail Chasers guide "Charlie" was awesome!....It's nice to have a guide who knows his stuff....At our first spot we only had one fish in the boat so Charlie immediately moved us to another spot where we hit our limit in no time....had to let many keepers go after hitting limit....We pursued redfish in shallower waters but had no luck....the hardheads were being a pain in the ass!...Fished solely on live croaker....
