This should be a great series being held at a great venue. I see it as being good for baseball and therefore good in general. Good luck to both teams.

What's your source on this Amigo? I haven't heard anything yet, of course I'm always the last to know anything at home too.

Just looked up Mumford, heck we might as well being playing in College Station. Kinda one sided location, we must've lost the toss again.

My son. He is good friends with half of RR's team. Directly from them, I guess. You know how they are with texting, twitter and such.

it a very nice facility. Lot better playing field than College Stations. Its going to be a bitch finding a place to eat though. Herman's Gas, Grocery and Fertlizer in Mumford closes at 6:00.

Hearne will have to do.

Its really not a bad drive. China Spring filled half of the stands in CS last week. Shouldn't be hard for the RR faithful to do the same.

Nope. The boy and several of his teammates are though.

One thing about playing at Mumford , the wind is normally blowing 20 plus in from CF. Gotta stay away from popping it up, line drives or find the hole are a must. Gotta go with CS, should be a good series.

Take your lawn chairs too. They have nice stands which are covered but plenty of room for the fence sitters too.

Its a shame that every school in the state doesn't provide a facility like Mumford or LaGrange. Those are some great places to play and watch a game.

This series should be a great one.

Mineral Wells has a similar set up if my memeory serves me right. Nice for HS baseball.

Your school can also have the same facilites if it had an oil well right outside the fence on the third base line.
