Argyle's 11th player from the 2013 football team has now officially been offered a scholarship to play football in college. JC Chalk(6-4,216), starting TE and a starter on the basketball team, was offered by Clemson this week in the Class of 2016. Chalk is a star in the making, and as the season progressed to the State Title game it became even more evident as his talents began to emerge. Then in basketball, starting as a soph and still unpolished from a long football season, Chalk joined the team and became an anchor under the basket for the Eagles. He has great hands, good foot movement, and seems always to be in the right position on the play to be an integral part of the play. He caught a couple of nice passes in the championship game, and always can be depended on to throw his blocks to spring the rbs for additional yardage....whether it be on the LOS or downfield. Apparently Clemson did some homework or was given his name from an unknown source. Regardless, he has been offered.
