Won the district UIL Academic championship

Lady Texans took district in Track & Field. (very long time coming)

Texan baseball team has locked in 2nd place and lurking behind Boerne with 3 to play. (2 against Boerne) Would need to sweep.

Boys took the title in tennis.

Just wanted to say congrats to all and "keep it going." Go Texans!

A well-rounded student/athletic program is a sign of good things going on. A sense of winning and accomplishment feeds on the entire student population and gets so many more students involved in all curriculum. Next thing ya know, the chemistry and school spirit is super high, and Wimberley just can't do nothing but win at everything. Good direction for the Texans.

just curious why do you say the track title was "very long time coming?"

The title was won by 1.3 of point over the second place...imo the perfect example of hard work and finishing every race strong also every member on the team counts...Good Job.

Maybe I misused the term. According to the local paper it's been close to 20 years since the Lady Texans have won district in track.
