Had a chance to go to Sunday's Wrestlmania at Superdome in New Orleans with a friend from Wharton but couldn't afford a ticket and staying three nights and also staying over for Monday Night Raw. He also had ticket to WWE access and tonight's Hall Of Fame Induction Ceremony.

People still watch fake wrestling?

what makes you think that its is fake? i have seen plenty 300lb men hit one another in face as hard as they can and not even leave a red mark. you know that if you jumped off the top rope and landed in the middle of my chest that would hop right off the floor and start slugging you in the face. hahahahahaha

Only 4.5 million a week.

It's still less rigged than the NBA.

There are a lot of lame people in the world....

How? It's literally scripted. Outcomes decided before the "match"... It's a glorified soap opera...

So you only watch sports? No fictional TV shows.

You need some 'Breaking Bad' in your life.

Correct. My tv is limited to sports, history channel and Comedy Central. I haven't watched a tv series outside of that in 5/6 years

Mr. T's speech was epic LOL. Please start a "he has the whole world in his chance" chant tonight. It can be the new Fandangoing.

Well speaking of 'rasslin' I just read where Brownwood has a Roller Derby match at the Coliseum this Saturday.
I had an Aunt and Uncle who had to stay up after the news on Saturday night to watch wrestling followed by roller derby.

:)

Yes they had Roller Derby on a Houston channel after wrestling when Paul Boesch was the promoter and match maker- They had matches at Sam Houston Coliseum in downtown Houston and at Fonde Rec Center. We always had ring side seats and went with my grandparents

I wanna believe you, but we both have thousands of posts on this site...

I post maybe 2/3 times a day at most these days on average, mainly when I'm at work on lunch break or if there is something significant sports related with my teams going on, which takes a grand total of less than 5 mins. I work 7-5 everyday and when I'm at home, it's not gonna be reality tv shows lol

Scripted, yes. However, these guys are athletes (most anyway) and the injuries are real.

No different than the folks who spent millions watching Captain America this weekend. C'mon! Did you really think he wasn't going to win?

Saggy Aggie
04-09-2014, 08:15 AM
Eh, not the same. Captain America is not a continuing series. Wrestling tries to portray itself as genuine, when it's not. Also, captain America significantly cheaper

But I understand your point. Pretty much the reason I won't be going to see that movie either
