Argyle Baseball on a roll

Argyle defeated Celina 11-4 on Tues. night in Argyle to take sole possession of the District 10 standings. They are now undefeated against all other district rivals thru the first go round. Argyle is now 17-7-1 on the season and has not yet lost a game to a 3A opponent. Denton Chronicle reports them as 18-7, but I believe they are 17-7-1 with a tie coming in a shortened game somewhere early in the season in a tournament game.

That's great! At least Argyle is getting some much deserved "love" in the rankings.....Meanwhile, my little team, Burnet, gets the usual cold shoulder. Not even a top 25 team....Yet, they sit atop District 8-3A standings all alone....and have already beat #10 ranked team - Liberty Hill...(and will beat them again!:stirpot:)......and that's why purple sucks!:D......Burnet has some nice pitching, good hitters, and a catcher you don't dare run on! (I believe he's already committed to ACU)....Nice job Coach Shipley!.......Keep it up Dawgs!
