Does, anybody know why Dodgers play by play announcer Vin Skully call games alone with no color guy?

I have never heard someone talk so much until I watched a Dodgers game the other night.

He never shuts up. On my extra inning package I got, during the season, I mute the TV on Dodger home games. Other than ST games, Vinny don't do road games unless it's in SF, SD and sometimes in Zona. I could careless the pitcher has a dog named ToTo, and a pinky toe missing. Not bad though, for a guy 106.

He has been calling Dodger Baseball since Moses played 2nd base for them. The man is an icon and todays baseball announcers only wish they could be as good as him. One man in the booth is the way that they used to announce the games on radio.

Listen to announcers that are real Yankees, you think the "Hopper" commercial is annoying? Cannot understand any of them.

Vin Scully is the best in the game. Music to my ears.

Icon indeed. Love to hear him call a game even when it hurts...like the one on Jan 10th, 1982. :(

Jack Buck was music when ya listened to him on radio at KMOX in St. Louis back in the day.
