Have you guys seen him play in recent years? He thrived in June Jones "run and shoot" offense.

Sounds to me like Gilbert is already well on the NFL radar for a franchise qb of the future. Looks like he made the right decision moving under the teaching prowess of June Jones at SMU. Now it's time for that learning curve to payoff. Good luck to Gilbert. He's yet another Texas-bred qb in a long line that have made their way to NFL contracts.
