3. Class 3A LaGrange has won 22 straight games since opening the season with a 6-2 loss to 5A power Pearland at the Brenham tournament
4. Mariah Denson of Mansfield Timberview fanned 20 in throwing a perfect game win
5. Bastrop Cedar Creek is having their best season in school history at 15-4 and pitcher Kirsten Pruett struck out 22 batters in an extra inning win last week.
6. Pearland’s Rylie Spell had four this and four RBIs as the Oilers beat Alvin.
7. Austin Stephen F. Austin is on their best start since the UIL sanctioned softball in 1992 as the Maroons lost their first three games and have now won 17 straight games.
8. West’s Maddison Camille Kettler is this week's South Central Region NFCA/Max Preps Player of the Week. Kettler (aka Crash) has committed to Baylor.

Mansfield is 14-2 after winning the Midland West Texas Challenge tournament 6-0 won tournament scoring 68 allowing 16. Coinco Ranch is on fire, beating katy Taylor 13-2 as Kayla Obert pitched the win and Kalri Hamilton hit her six homerun fo the season. Cinco Ranch beat Seven lakes 6-3 with another Ober win and a tater by Brittany Nollkamper. In a tight contest, Cinco Ranch edged Katy 5-4 as it was Uber Ober as Kayla pitched the win and hit a solo homerun in the foruth and a two run shot in the sixth inning to give her five on the season. In the win, Cinco Ranch rallied form a 3-0 deficit after three innings.
