It's definitely not who they're beating. It's the recent history they are fighting against. The Buckeyes haven't had any sustained success in baseball in a long time, so it's a wait and see approach. As you know, baseball rankings are based more on reputation than actual play. Football is the same in some degree, just not as much. This year's Buckeye team looks to have the tools to make a run, but they will definitely have to cut down on the mistakes. I don't care if they are ever ranked, but you can't sneeze at a 12-2 record. They must be doing something right.

Both teams played ugly at times. I think 1 ER was earned for both clubs. Wind did cause issues.

#7 Ranked Argyle(10-6-1) defeated #4 Robinson(14-1) 3-2 in a tight game at the Ballpark in Arlington on Monday March 10. Later in the week they also defeated Mineral Wells 11-3....with a game to be played Saturday against Byron Nelson at their place. But the weather outlook looks stormy, so that game will probably be cancelled. Argyle is now 12-6-1 on the season after dropping all its losses to higher classification teams in the 3 tournaments they participated in to start their season.

Yeah....Argyle don't play 2A's anymore....not for quite a few years now.

I state my case for Gilmer and they go and lose to Brownsboro. They did re out last night with an 8-2 win over Henderson in district.

Gilmer is now 13-3 overall and 3-0 in district.
