Madison pulling away from Yates by 10 points with just over 6 minutes left

The horse race for the basket is still ongoing, but I think Madison has better racehorses....even though Yates has some very good basketball players. Looks like the Yates full court press the entire game hasn't worked against the Madison court burners. And Madison appears to also play a better brand of defense.

I wouldn't know. Comcast and Fox Sports booty-jabbed the folks in the Houston area. Right before the end of the 3rd quarter, they cut the broadcast on one of the alternate stations where it was playing and it's not on any of the others.

Madison was better on the boards, even though Yates had more height. The Madison Trojans are just faster to the ball and EVERYBODY rebounds for them.

Madison 82, Yates 70-FINAL, Back to Back state champs

It's over....Madison repeats 82-70 over Yates. Great showing by both teams, but Dallas Madison takes the trophy back to Region 2. Congrats to the Madison Trojans on yet another SC title in basketball. Not sure how many they have now.

Yep. They should have been 4A last go 'round but fudged numbers.
