A new national record for public school. The Nazareth Swiftettes have won 19 state championships (including the 2014 Class 1A - Division II Championship). Since 1976, the Swiftettes have been to the Final Four of the Texas state tournament 23 times. 19 Sc out of 23 trips. I would call that a Dynasty.

They just have it in one sport , Celina I think has 20 State Titles from Football, Track, Baseball, and Softball, Cross Country, not to shaby, but your right Nazareth has a dynasty in basketball.

Their boys have 6 Basketball State Championships out of 15 trips to the final four.

Pretty sure 95-99% of the towns in TEXAS would trade those 25 basketball state titles for the Football State Championships that Brownwood and Celina have. This isn't Kansas, Kentucky, or Indiana.

Pretty sure 95-99% of the towns in Texas would give thier left nut for just one of those 25 basketball championships.

I would think China Spring would love to lay claim to that as well... not sure why you mentioned the two schools you did other than your feelings are still hurt from 2010 and 2011... as far as I know that's the only time we've ever played.

CS has one girls SC. But you are very correct.

In regards to my feelings? My feelings are not hurt about 2010, that was going to happen no matter, However, I still think it was a BS call in 2011.

As far as 2007 with Celina, that game speaks for itself.

No I was simply give a nod to two schools that can truely claim to have had or have dynasties. Doesn't hurt that folks from both towns are on here thumping their chest about it all the time.

So, since CS has never done anything close to being comparable to what The Wood & Celina have done you've latched onto panhandle girls basketball? Gotcha.

And no, 95-99% of the towns in Texas would not "give their left nut" to win a basketball title.....

Canyon High isn't too shabby either with 15 Girls Basketball Titles, 2 Boys Basketball Titles, 8 Girls Cross Country Titles and 4 Boys Cross Country Titles

I am very sure that there are many schools that have a combined record of mulitple state championships. I am not trying to dis anyone. I merely used Cellina's and Brownwood's record of SCs as a comparison because they have set the standard in football.

I don't think you meant any dis respect to either of our programs, we got to have a little thicker skin than that and as I remember correctly China Springs closed the door on Celina State title hopes in 1978 as they went on to win their first State Title.. That was a cold cold ball game.
