Had to share - our youngest granddaughter, Alex (in the orange shirt) got Reserve Champion Market Swine last night at the Cuero Stock Show. Her cousin, RayLynn, showed the Grand Champion. We're so happy for Alex - in 2012 - she was sifted for being 1 pound over and in 2013, her pig died the weekend before the stock show. She is also the 4H Princess. We're hoping the oilfied guys bring their checkbooks to the sale on Friday..... Just had to brag a bit :)

No parent or grandparent can never, ever be blamed for bragging on their kids and grandkids. Congrats to these fine young ladies---this is what working hard and achieving success is all about---and the 4H has certainly recognized and taught that for many years.
