Sweetwater's Stephen May went 4 for 4 with 4 RBI and a run scored.

Sweetwater led 8-0 going to the bottom of the 4th that's when Seminole scored 6 runs
off a few base hits, a walk and a couple of errors. Otherwise, Sweetwater's ace James Clift
held them in check for most of the game.

Yep, undefeated against 2A-4A....5A and junior college's JV team not so much.

They get some real tests this week against Andrews today and Lubbock Estacado Thursday before heading into district play the following week.

Yes, four teams make the playoffs. Texas high school baseball magazine picked these four teams to make it in 4-3A

The Mustangs beat Estacado 9-5 to finish up non-district play. They led 9-0 after six but the Matadors scored five in the top of the seventh to make things interesting.
Sweetwater enters district play with a 13-3 record.
