Looks like Yates may be able to give Madison a run for the title. We'll see how Kennedale measures up in this equation. As you can tell, I pretty much have concluded that Lone Star won't be able to get by Madison in the regional final, although Lone Star does have a very good team this season. They were in Argyle's district and won the district title this season. It's just always tough to get by Madison in this region. One year it was Wilmer Hutchins that won. Argyle's made it once, but should have been there at least twice. The draw would have Madison and Yates in the final if they both win out, I believe.

I am very proud of the Navasota Rattlers and the performance that they gave against the Jack Yates team today. I am more proud of the sportsmanship of both teams. The attached photo shows both teams and all coaches after the game.774

Final

Madison 72
Lone Star 41

And that is against a ranked 26-7 Lone Star squad that was considered very good. Look out for a repeat by Dallas Madison.
