Good Lord. Wharton's baseball program has gone to complete crap.

They need to coax Coach Ciruti out of retirement.

Wharton High has gone thru some good coaches since Coach Ciruti left...

IMO. The community has turned the high school program into " beginning " baseball and that just not wash.

Wharton kids are not being taught or learning the fundamentals of every aspect of baseball and that begins as early as age 10-12.

Summer programs are a mess . The lack of commitment by the sons and dads of the area shows.

Coach Allen is basically coaching little league vs everyone else's varsity.

They started hitting the ball. Hit three or four doubles in the 5th.

Necks did have a big inning going in the bottom half of the 5th before the game was called due to time.
