Nobody is going to beat Madison unless the team comes down with the flu.
I'm not sure about Kennedale if Ty Charles can't recover from the injury he sustained in the Burk game. Does anyone know his condition? I honestly thought Kennedale would lose when he left the game in the 2nd period but Kennedale made huge adjustments on defense and shut Burk down in the 3rd....they only scored 6 points. I hope the Wildcats surprise me again.

Don't get me wrong....I'd love to see Kennedale make it to the title game and actually beat Madison. They have been a thorn in Argyle's runs for many seasons. One year, Argyle was undefeated and ranked #1 all year, and did have the best team in the state in 3A, but Madison pulled out a squeaker in the last seconds and then went on to win the SC in Austin that season. I'll never forget the look on our boys' faces when that happened. They were up late in the 4th by about 8 pts. in the regional final, but somehow shot themselves in the footsies and there went their perfect season...to Madison of all teams, lol. We had previously beat them easily in a non-district game, but that's the way the ball bounces in basketball.

I watched both Madison and Lone Star win their regional semis last night. I think this game will be much closer than some anticipate. While Madison is the favorite, Lone Star will be a BIG test for them.
