No it doesnt knock them out of the playoffs. They finished 4th and will play Melissa. This is complete garbage. Blatant cheating. They shoul be disqualified from the playoffs. All Triple A has done is been a thorn in the side of the UIL. Take that crap to Tapps.

Melissa is getting hosed (pun intended). They should be playing the fourth place team from Triple A's district, instead has to play the number 2 team in the state.

Freaking joke of a ruling. Melissa wins their district, is supposed to play the true 4th place team but end up playing a team loaded with recruited division 1 talent. Good job, UIL.

Region 2 is toast anyways. When you have Dallas Madison and Triple A, the rest of us are just scraps to be thrown to the dogs. Every year, Argyle has to run this gauntlet of Dallas area teams, whether it be Madison or Hutchins, and now AAA. Winning our region is like winning state....and whoever wins this region is usually in the final. Good luck to the rest of the regions....maybe one of the Houston teams can contend.

Not even Dallas AAA Academy has been able to beat Dallas Madison this season. They are both in District 11, and Madison has only lost a couple of games all year.....to higher classification premier teams. They are the defending SC from last season. If Argyle gets by Wilmer Hutchins in the Area Round, they'll get killed this season by Madison in the quarters of the Region 2 tournament. AAA Academy is in the lower bracket and will probably win that side to meet Madison in the regional final. I predict Madison will repeat as the State Champ this season in 3A. I know Yates is always good too.
