I have discussed this topic with some of your on other formats. Here is the latest.

School board to make decision in March.

How will this affect the new 4A District 10 Division 2

It currently has only 5 schools.

I remember when Wilmer-Hutchins was closed a few years back it was in a very small district as well and the UIL didn't make any changes.

If they go through with the closing play in D10 will be for seeding

The problem though is that Worthing is the closest school to Jones so if they merge them it will affect Worthing's enrollment so not sure what they will do.

Since the numbers have already been sent to the UIL, Worthing would have a larger enrollment for the next 2 years despite being in 4A D2.

When they moved the Vanguard Program Jones was put on death row. Gotta feeling they're running out of appeals.

Truth of the matter is, that's what they would have been playing for even with Jones because Scarborough wasn't going to beat anyone. Heck, the middle schools near the other 10-4A schools could beat Scarborough.

Could be the first team ever to go 0-11 as barring a huge upset they'd play WOS in the first round.

District 10 was the same way last year. After Prime Prep was kicked out of the UIL, it just left Ferris, Roosevelt, Madison, and Wilmer-Hutchins.
