Nothing here falling from the sky in beautiful, gray-sky downtown Cuero... have reports of white stuff all around us though.. My husband is driving to north of Tulsa and he called me at the crack of dawn and said it had snowed in La Grange and towards Giddings on 77. I assume he's going to run into ALOT more as he goes north. He opted to go up 77 instead of 35 cause he said he heard parts of 35 were at a standstill at 7AM.. he didn't want to take any chances.... I wish he'd of postponed this trip but I think it's a "guy thing" 'oh, little snow/sleet isn't going to stop me'.... fingers crossed for NO ICE :)

It feels and smells like snow weather here, but have yet to see any of it in Kilgore.

Here's a view from the front door of my workplace. Notice the American flag in the upper right hand corner.

Starting to stick, coming down harder now than ever.
They are closing TSU @ Weatherford at 11am today.

Burnet got 21 inches today!....:D......that is, 21 inches the front blew in of white chicken feathers from the neighbors ranch whose kid is "growing" chickens for 4H competition.....and speakin' of 4H, my kid did that for one year...it was fun and lots of hard work.....but his chickens grew nowhere near as big as all the cheaters chickens!.....He got discouraged after the last stock show cause too many folks use all sorts of "feed" to get them chickens to the brink of cardiac arrest!..."feed" like cat food, pancake syrup, etc. etc. make chickens look more like turkeys!....I remember one chicken "stroked out" right in front of the judges as the kid was holding it upside down by the legs!....Dang chicken still won!...:spitlol:...Poor chicken!..Didn't even get to celebrate her victory!.......sorry,,,,,,,just random ramblin' on my part.....

We got a spattering. Nothing stuck really. Swept the driveway and side walk off with a big broom. It was pretty falling though. I work from home. ;)

According to one of those weather guys, the official name of it is "grapple". It falls as sleet, then mixes with snow and refreezes as large sleet.

Looks like Rd 2 in the morning.

Drove all the way from Harlingen up 77, I-67 then up 281 and saw no measurable white stuff until I reached Palo Pinto County. Mineral Wells had lots of it.

Here's the main intersection in the place I'm living. City is almost out of their 1400 tons of salt, so they've stopped clearing most of the roads in town.
