Haven't heard anything either. It's a little early, but hope they will get it settled very soon. Important time for next year's development.

Heard they cut off applications last Thursday and started looking through them on Friday. Approximately 60 applicants for the job. Now comes the time for someone to make a good decision from amongst those choices.

I heard the school board is meeting tomorrow afternoon on a personnel issue. Could very likely be to select a new AD/HC.

I heard that the new chief on the reservation is Kodi Crane from Groesbeck. He previously was DC at San Angelo Central and also has coached at Alice High School. Definitely not official, but this is coming down the grapevine.

Okay, It's official. GISD has announced the hiring of Kodi Crane, former AD/HC at Groesbeck High School. He is supposed to hit the ground running next week. Welcome to Gonzales, Coach Crane.
