45 miles away... and we're not playing. Bummer. Not looking forward to trips to Argyle, Birdville, Libety Hill and especially Canyon.

It's definitely a favorable schedule for us. That's for sure.

Yeah, we aren't going to miss playing y'all. lol

I want to see Liberty Hill's new facilities but not bad enough to drive that far on a Friday night.

Can't argue with that, but... Muleshoe?

Hey, don't sleep on Muleshoe. I watched them pound on #4 Godley in Mustang Bowl back in 2011 on their way to the 2A DII semifinals.

I didn't mean to sound like I don't respect Muleshoe. I know they traditionally have a good program. It's just a long distance to travel for a non District game, that's all.

That's true but then again we scrimmaged Vernon for ten years while Kent Jackson was here. Vernon is about equally as far for a glorified practice. So...

On a side note, former Sweetwater coach Tom Ritchey's son David who is a Mustang alum is the HC at Lamesa. So, it'll be a homecoming of sorts for him
that last week of the regular season.
