Extra point kick removed in NFL?

I don't want to see the EP removed from football. It does need to be changed. I think spotting the ball at the 5 yard line and running one untimed play for 3 points is a good idea. If a team chooses to kick the ball it would still be worth one point.

If they get rid of EP's then it's kickoff's that are next. All this is doing is taking about someones job that is only special teams.

I say make them kick from the 10 yard line. So every extra point would be a 25 yd kick

True. And, after hearing more about the change today, I like the idea of the new scoring idea's. Would put some excitement in it.

94% of FG inside of 40 yards were good this season in the NFL. Move the PAT back to be a 45 yard attempt. And, only have 3 guys on each side of the ball.

This. The answer should be making the kick harder, not eliminating it.
