Goodell is there on behalf of the owners and league. Players and everyone else are mere chattel as they create ways to lessen the players' shares and increase those of the owners. Case in point, the Pro Bowl has become a joke but there are plans to eliminate it.

Automatic or not. I still cringe at the thought of a miss, block, or mishandled snap. I know it was a FG attempt (in extra pt. range) but the Romo play tends to cross my mind on more occasions than I care to admit.

Doesn't he earn $25 Million a year? I'm pretty sure I could get over the fans' unrest for that annually.

Besides, everyone claims they hate pro football. But it dominates on TV ratings and tickets keep being sold each year. Seems like the NFL is successful.
