Stephenville has held the record for the most total yards in a season for high school 11 man team since 1998 and it finally fell this year. They now have the number 2 (1998) and number 9 (1994) records.
The numbers that the 1953 Sugarland team attained have always amazed me. I see they still hold the record for most yards per game of 697.9 in a season. The Corona, CA team that broke Stephenville's total yards record this year is #2 in that category with 600.1 which is almost 100 yds/game less.
