Curious as to what made him chose Arkansas? Maybe family ties? Arkansas is a fine university......its just not in Texas. I'm quite sure this kid could have went just about anywhere he wanted. Any ideas?

No sir, and I dont think that's a done deal. I In think that might have been one of the first to offfer but I'm not positive.

Didn't he hit about 102 extra points in a row? I don't have exact numbers but I think he averaged 6 points a game in his what, 42 games.

A lot of schools don't give kickers scholarships, maybe Ark is. I know if I was coaching a D-1 team I would have the best kicker that I could get and on scholarship every year.. Congrats to this kid, I saw him kick in 2011 state game.

From what I understand, Arkansas is doing all they can to "hold on" to Cole's verbal. I've heard that other offers from major D1 teams are coming in....so this deal with Arkansas is not exactly a done deal yet. I think Cole does have more options now to consider....and Arkansas was merely the first major D1 school of those early offers that he considered was his best opportunity. I think things have changed now, so don't be surprised if his final commitment changes before signing day.
