Nice. I learned that only Gordon Wood (9) and G.A. Moore (8) have more state championships than Scott Surratt (4). They both were head coaches for 44 years. Scott Surratt has only been a head coach for 7 seasons

Coach Buchanan at Aledo has 5, 4 in the last 5 years and 1 in 1998 when Aledo was 3A.

Coach Surratt still has a lot of coaching ahead of him.. He will probably end up with 10 or more before it's all said and done.. Great coach!
