Pretty good day for txhsfb. They set the state and natl attendance record and Aledo scores more points in a season than any other HS in history.

These are just some unbelievable numbers for high school football. The rest of the nation must be in disbelief....wondering how in the world can it be true??? It is true because it is Texas High School playoff football....the best football in the nation. And it's in our backdoor. Ohio State and Alabama and Florida can't hold a candle to this action. Neither can Calif. All they can do is stand in awe.

Of the 4 bowl games yesterday, the largest attendance was 54,728. Pretty amazing that Texas high school football almost topped it!

Total attendance for all 2013 State Championship Football games was 233,056. Depending how many people say multiple games the ticket sales are in the 7 figure range.

First time they had to open the upper deck up for HS here. I'll also say, Allen best team I ever seen. And, to think--most skilled kids were juniors. OL'ers losing some, but--those massive guys I seen on the sideline, will fill that gap and Allen will be ok next year when they return to state IMO.

I was on the opposite 45, third ring. Best seats in the house.
