When watching state games on Fox-I have gray bars at the right and left and black on the top and bottom bars.
Then on the other TV the quality is terrible and I have black on top and bottom with the picture in the middle
Does anyone else have a similar problem?

ANY content in 4:3 format will have the bars on either side, unless you stretch it to fill the screen

What provider do you have?

Sounds like you aren't watching the HD feed. The gray bars are there because your TV sees 4:3 (old school square) video and that's just what TVs do unless you stretch it out. The black bars are because instead of doing an old school 4:3 the station shrinks the 16:9 (widescreen) to fit into the 4:3 box. Your TV should have a button on the remote to stretch it out if you can't find the HD channel.

I don't know why but it was 412 on my Dish. But I found it and set them to record in case I don't get off work in time today to watch them.

Some are on FSSW Plus which is a different #.

We had to change our TV settings and one of our TVs is not HD or flat sceen. It's an old Panasonic 26 inch and still works good in my office where I have everything
