Serious question, how many region 1 teams would have made the playoffs in district 16? I think Graham would have gotten forth and Stephenville maybe 3rd. Don't see anyone else beside maybe shallowater scrapping a 4th place finish.

Funny thing about this quote is many of the projected districts this next realignment have Sville shifting to R2

Its match ups also. Rockdale did well in R3-D2 playoffs but got stomped by LH during regular season.

Who claims region 1 is superior?
Anybody with a brain knows region 1 is terrible.
I even said that making it out of region 1 is like winning a Jr high b team volleyball tournament.
The top few teams (as in maybe 2 in a good year) can realistically compete with any of the other top teams in the other regions (and I don't think many would argue that), but outside of those few, there ain't much!


Unless of course we claim our 5A D1 Region 1 brethren - then nobody can stand a claim!!! HA.
