For women, soccer is where it's at! And it will become the #1 women's sport in the US before long. For all you big boys who tend to hate the game, it's because it requires a lot of running. lol Soccer players are some of the most fit and conditioned athletes in the world. Respect the game! :D

For women, soccer is where it's at! And it will become the #1 women's sport in the US before long. For all you big boys who tend to hate the game, it's because it requires a lot of running. lol Soccer players are some of the most fit and conditioned athletes in the world. Respect the game! :D

Some of the workouts these women endure would make a man out of alot of football players! I think dislike for soccer is primarily due to ignorance of the game, as the general public learns more about the game they will learn the difficulty and skills it takes to play competitively.

I have a cousin who has a daughter who is now a sophomore at Tomball Memorial and she was the MVP mid fielder of their district last year so I'm keeping up with the spot and going to her matches. She has been playing soccer since before she was 10. She had had several injuries but always bounces back. Its a real physical sport and has a lot of contact

I coach a girls select soccer team. Some of them since they were 4, 5, and 6 year olds. They are U12 now. Great competitors and athletes. They like the physicalness of the game. Soccer will be the #1 women's sport of the future. I see the movement already taking place. It's one of the few sports you can play anywhere, anytime, with just a ball and use anything to mark as goals. The truest athletes can play soccer. Others seem to just love to hate it because they can't appreciate the athletism it takes.
