The Chicago defense is as bad as the Dallas defense is. So now lets see which OFFENSE can consistently take advantage of it! Can the Dallas 19 million a year veteran QB perform better than the 3rd string, lifetime bench player for the Bears? History tells us he won't........... but let's see!

Witten drops an easy catch and Murray has a drop in the 2 min drill and all anyone will be able to talk about is how romo can't win in December.

The Dallas defense is ranked #31 in the NFL right now. But the Bears defense is also ranked #29. Should have been an offensive shootout. This defense will be dismantled after the season and next year's defense won't even resemble this one. My question is why wouldn't this offense also be dismantled. I hate that the injury bug has decimated the defense but the performance of this offense disgusts me! Everybody in America watching this game knew the defense was beat up and playing with a bunch of guys who wouldn't start for the Allen Eagles. But NOBODY in America understands why this offense sucks so bad..................

I'm not overly surprised by the points that were put up. The zero stops yes, but not the points. This has been a bad defense all year, I expect them to get thrashed on a weekly basis.

Offense wasn't great but hey weren't bad either. Just didn't have the ball much. Witten is probably going to escape criticism for his drop in the two minute drill which was critical.

The thing is this offense has absolutely zero margin for error. They know they have to score virtually every time they have the ball so they press.

Some folks have been screaming for the run game. Well, we ran for almost 200 yards. The OL is starting to look pretty decent.

Usually I would be the first to blame Romo but this season can't be credited to him. He had done everything he can to win with a bad team. It's so frustrating to watch a team that's supposed to have all this talent and potential consistently disappoint.

Pitiful brand of pro football being put on the field by the Cowboys right now. Injuries are a big factor, but the Cowboys have made their own bed by filing the roster with players that look good to Jerry and then expecting miracles from quick-hire coaches implementing system after system every season. That quick-fix system has not worked for Daniel Snyder, Al Davis in the latter years, or Jerry. The Cowboys team, not their logo, are no longer respected in the NFL.

So true, two bad defenses and only one QB took advantage. You would have thought Romo could have done the same as McCown , Romo's pass on 4th down in the 3rd quarter was pitiful. Threw the damn ball in the dirt where no one had a chance, I guess he did not want to take a chance of throwing an INT.

Sorta disagree, TXB---your offense can score 46pts. against an equally bad defense. Cowboys did not respond to the challenge on either side of the ball last night.

Macarthur

Romo truly is a Rorschach test.

The defense allows a team to score on every single drive the entire game and all some can talk about is how romo didn't match the other offense. You realize that Peyton manning scores on less than 50% of the broncos possessions and the only way some folks are satisfied with romo is to score on every possession in a windy soldier field when it's 8 degrees !

The offense did sputter at times but you do realize that they were on the road in a cold windy stadium? You expect them to put up 40? Well, 40 wouldn't have been enough! You rush for over 200 yards. Your QB throws 3 TD passes and you don't turn the ball over and you still lose by almost 20! And you brain surgeons want to talk about romo.

Partially the fault of the play design but at one point on a 3rd and 15 Romo throws a 1 yard pass to the TE who was running sideways. Simply the stupidest pass Romo could have thrown in that situation. There was absolutely ZERO chance of getting a 1st down on that play. At some point the team leader and franchise QB has to make better decisions. All the underneath stuff is great unless of course you need more than the underneath stuff will get you.......

You failed the Rorschach test Mac! You don't seem to understand that the Time of Possession advantage for the Bears was just as much the result of poor offensive execution for Dallas as it was bad defense. The Bears had 5 scoring drives under 3 minutes in length. How many of the Bears scoring drives are eliminated if the Cowboy's offense simply holds the ball another 6 minutes? (13 minute TOP advantage for Chicago). I'd say the Bears score 2 fewer times. Now what if the Cowboys had actually scored on those additional 6 minutes of execution? 21 point swing? 14 points swing? Maybe! Maybe not! The point is the defense depends on the offense to keep them OFF THE FIELD as much as the offense depends on the defense to keep them ON THE FIELD! Both side failed! But only one side was healthy and fairly highly rated!

I agree with turning in the Cowboy card panfan! But if you pick up another team instead then it seems to me you weren't really a fan to begin with. If I drop off the Cowboy bandwagon (and I'm really close to doing so) it will mean I will probably have to drop off the Pro football bandwagon. Switching team allegiance isn't possible for me. It's the Cowboys or it's nobody! "Nobody" is starting to look more and more appealing these days.................. The question is can i watch the NFL and play fantasy football in a completely indifferent mind set or do I have to walk away from it completely?

I think a body can certainly be a fan of more than one team, plus while out west, picking up Cowboys games was tough, not that I ditched them or anything, was just hard to follow them.
