With a stroke of luck he should find another job coaching somewhere.

That's nice and all, but an apology would be more appropriate.

He might find a job as QB pick six coach, or maybe as an OC.
Then again, the thought of the predictable game plans, playing not to lose, poor redzone performance, and promoting kickball with so many FG attempts kind of annoys me.
Oh yeah, he wasted time outs and he got 80% percent of his challenges wrong too!

Let's all ignore the fact that Kubiak took over the worst franchise in the NFL with a record of 28 games below .500 the first 4 seasons of their existence and turned them into a perinnial power in just 3 seasons. The Houston Texans were the cream of the crop for a few years and a single drop off season where his franchise QB has a career bad year costs him his job. It will now be back to obscurity for the Texans. BTW: Even in a year when the Texans are 2-11 Gary Kubiak is voted the #13 coach in the NFL coaching Power Rankings..... That's higher than J. Garrett and a number of coaches with a much better record. http://www.nfl.com/photoessays/0ap1000000208735

I would trade you 20 Jason Garretts for just 1 Gary Kubiak.

The Texans are loaded with talent and have lost 11 straight games.
Taking Atlanta back up Schaub and then locking the Texans in with a big contract for Schaub was a mistake.
Schaub only has the goods to be good, and he lacks moxy.
Hardly a franchise QB IMO.

Sure, Kubiak is a nice guy, but it is frustrating to be a Texans fan and see him play not to lose and lose.
He came close to losing his job a couple of years back and held on with the addition of Wade Phillips.
It was a mistake to keep him then.

The predictability of his play calling led to the pick sixes that spiraled in to a terrible season.
Sometimes change is good for everyone involved.
I wish him well.

That NFL Power Rankings was published last summer, before the Texans lost 11 straight.

How about a trade then? Kubiak/Schaub for Garrett/ Romo?

No way, I wouldn't wish that on you or Dallas.

Maybe Dallas could throw in JJ to "sweeten" the deal. :evillol:
