Phone died, now recharged, 28 to 14 Carthage. WOS will be the team to beat next year, they are young and made to many turn overs to beat a team like Carthage. The D played one heck of a ball game tonight for Carthage. The offense did not play very well and the special team gave up 97 yard kick off for TD. The bright spot for the Dawgs tonight was the offensive line and pipken, He ran for 219 yards. The Dawg D only gave up 7 points and caused a few of the turn overs. The O side of the ball did not pass very well due to the wind and Boggie was off a little on his throws. The WOS defense is really good and if their offense was half as good as the D, they would be bad to the bone. Great ball game and one more game away from where we want to be. Up next La Grange.

Better is not the word I would use, they will be the team to beat and should be ranked number one at the start of the season with Navasota right behind them. The Stangs were the best team the Dawgs have faced all year and that includes White House. If that sophomore Q/B learns from this game and puts in the time from now until next year and add in the speed of that team on both sides of the ball, they will score a lot of points and not give up many. I was very impressed. God Bless and thankful for no injuries.
