So, how long before the oilfield workers of the world get offended and force us to change our name?

I wouldn't have a problem if they kept the logo but renamed the team The Natives or Native Americans. And on another note, other than Lamar, HISD football is offensive.

I have always wondered if the Needville Bluejays was a nod to the past of the Jaybird political group, of the Jaybird-Woodpecker war.
The Jaybirds still had political influence in Fort Bend County at that time Needville probably started the football program.
