What district rivalries will be put on hold for atleast the next two years?

I will be very surprised if Shallowater & Cooper play again in football. They will be in the new 5A and we will be in the new 3A. I would like to keep playing them in basketball (girls especially), we have built up a pretty heated rivalry there.

Connally and Lorena are being dropped to Division II which will split up the weekly Friday night wars that have taken place in the Waco District for many years. Glen Rose and China Spring are not playing each other in non-district for the first time in a very long time too.

That won't be decided until the District Alignments come out. Not even sure of which Region we will end up in, possibly could end up in I, II or III although Whitney played Newton in 2A Region III this year. That is a distance is larger than most States.

Shallowater 437 Old Coach...that puts them in 3A, Div 1 (315 - 464)

Doubt Wharton will play Needville in non-district-Tigers should play Ricebirds though-depends on the coaches if they want to.
Wharton needs to play some 2A schools in non-district
