Defense held us pretty good in the first half. Score at Half was 3-0 B.C. We had a couple of missed field goal attempts in the first half. Our guys came out ready to play in the second half. Their first score was on a 87 yard kick off return. They shouldn't be a problem for Orangefield.

Actually it was 23-0 with 4 minutes let in the ball game and H-J scored twice on a well substituted BC team... Wow, Orangefield is the real thing with an easy win over Anahuac; I love it. I just wonder if Thomas Hamrick(OF) had stayed with BC, if he would have had an opportunity to play something besides defense, that he was relegated to last year?... BC passed some, and got H-J to back off a bit. Even thought the passing game was not to perfection, it made a real contribution in opening up the defense.

Except for the first game against Barbers Hill, who were still "finding" their team, Anahuac has whipped up on poor 2A and private Catholic schools (= NOBODY).

I'm probably jinxing us right now, but I think Anahuac is way over-rated. I think they would be tough back in 2A, but not here, and not now. They'll show in District, because 21AAA is so shallow this year, but they won't get far afterward.

Hardin is Bridge City's next opponent and you will have to play better against Hardin "than" Hardin Jeff to beat them. Although Hardin lost to H-J earlier this season, it should have not ended up that way, but that is in the past.....B-C is tough but this will be a good one to see!

I have known alot of them for a long time. Some knew my son. Others I know thru other contacts. Guess it got in my blood, and has stayed.
