1069 Dean Martin Comedy Spy movie The Wrecking Crew coming to TCM on 11-23-13 (Sat)

It starts at 11 A.M. It is a good movie worth seeing and is funny with action. Dean Martin plays Spy Agent Matt Helm (a good guy) while his opponent is played by Nigel Green as Count Contina. John Larch plays Martin's associate McDonald. There are four ladies and are Elke Summer as LInka, Nancy Kwan as Yu-Rang, Tina Louise as Lola and Sharon Tate as Freyla who is along to work with Martin. An unknown at the time a young Chuck Norris appears as one of the bad guys at about the 1hr12min mark at the House of 7 Joys. Bruce Lee was a consultant for the fight scenes.
This movie is worth recording to watch later if needed. The cast is good and Sharon Tate was a beautiful talented young actress and is funny and great in this movie. Just to see her perform makes this movie worth while. Sadly we lost her through terrible circumstances soon after this movie was made.

That was great. That was the last Dean Martin Matt Helm movie made. They were going to make The Ravengers but didn't. They were planning for Sharon Tate to return in her Freyla role which would have been a treat but her tragic death ended that. Dean Martin had enjoyed working with her so much that after the tragedy he decided to not do any more of those movies. The producers tried to change his mind and tried to get Goldie Hawn to do the movie but she wasn't available so the series ended.
