Krum has the fortunate position of drawing Argyle first in these 2013 High School Football 3A playoffs. The game will kick tonite(Thurs.) at C.H. Collins stadium in Denton at 7:30 pm. I doubt if there will be many scouts watching this one....unless they want to scout our backups for next season, lol. I don't know that much about Krum this season, except they are minus their starting qb that was excused from the team prior to Week 0 for possession of *********, I believe. By now, I'm sure they have had plenty of time to develop another qb and offense without the Sr. starter that was so good from last season. Regardless, the game will be broadcast on ABN(Argyle Broadcast Network) by going to Argyle ISD on the net, hit the Athletic Booster Club section, then hit Listen Live from there. :1popcorn:

Krum is fixin' to score...they ran it down to the Argyle 3. They are still playing their starters. They just lost 6 yards on that play. Now 2nd and 9. They just threw it on a fade pattern for a Krum Bobcat TD. Now it's Argyle 43-6. Bad snap on the PAT.

They said it was a beautiful throw to the reciever in the end zone over his shoulder that no one would get but the reciever. Good Play!

Argyle will meet the Melissa Cardinals next Friday nite in Prosper at their stadium. Melissa defeated Dallas Roosevelt tonite 42-7. This game should be a very good test for the Argyle Eagles. The Cardinals have a pedigree for doing well in the playoffs, and they ain't no slouches....that's for certain. The Melissa boys know how to compete at a high level and will bring that talent to upend the Eagles. Should be a game worth the price of admission and fun to watch.

Argyle knows each game each week needs to stand on its own. This upcoming game with Melissa will be a big test for the starters. They have yet to play a full four quarters all year. I'm not sure if they have played into the 4th quarter all year.
