The positive in all this is that our kids safety is at an all time high due to better training and better understanding! The number of head related injuries are higher because we as a society used to tell them to toughen up and get back in there! Now we take measures to protect them such as have them see a Dr. for a release to play! Unfortunately there are inherent dangers involved with physical activities, but in my opinion as a father of three sons the dangers of not being involved in these same activities are far worse!
