Sirvincent Rogers OL JasperCongratulations to all these guys. :) Note that last year Jasper arguably graduated the best OL'man in Texas in Jorrie Adams, and here they are with another top OL. And ya'll thought all those big Jasper players were gone. :D

What about Charles Huffman and Michael Spears from Rice? These guys had well over 1600 yds. a piece this year. Michael also had 12 interceptions on the year. It seems that Rice players can never get the credit they deserve.

According to the Houston Chronicle, Charles Huffman ended the year with 1873yds. and Michael Spears with 1743yds. Pretty impressive, if you ask me. Great job guys and you are number #1 in our eyes!!

Jorrie was 3A player of the year last year..can't remember if it was Dave Campbell's group or not though. (may have been gatorade)Jorrie had so many recognitions last year I wouldn't even begin to try to list them all. Some I remember are Parade All-American, the Army All-Star game (the one Shipley is going to this year), and on and on. But, if I remember correctly he DID NOT make the AP all-state team. Go figure.

rice4state, where was Spears when they played Wharton. that kid was a no-show. he didnt even win the MVP for district 28-3A. Terrel Lee from Palacios is the MVP. What is Spears listed at 5ft6in and 160lbs. that kid is a featherweight. He might return punts for Blinn next yr. MIGHT. Quit pumpin the dude up like he's ALL-American. He didnt even win MVP in his own district.
