Any good places to eat up there? We have to be there early and was just curious.

Not many choices in Lytle, Bill Miller BBQ, Whataburger, McD's. Might as well drive another 10 miles to Devine and eat at Triple C Steakhouse.

I'm looking forward to seeing the Lytle "Hype Video" 2013 like the one they did last year.Should be a lot better game this time around, they got some playoff experience and won their district this season. District 30 routed all 3 games last season against District 29. This one could be a close one but Sinton is much better on defense this season since middle of the season when they started putting pieces together.

Hopefully soph Colton Cohea can get some more carries at running back, he has break away speed. Looks a lot like Sinton qb from a few years ago Carson Cave.

Sinton top 2 rushing stats:

Qb Tyler Handson 223 carries 1790 yds and 25 tds
Rb John Gabriel Guzman 124 carries 855 yds and 10 tds

Lytle has a good bunch of kids on both sides of the ball...Really have not kept up with Sinton this year...Come early cause Lytle visitors side is small..Lytles concession better be ready and have plenty of food...lol...Have to give the edge to Sinton,only cause more playoff experience...

Sinton travels pretty good... I was surprised by the low crowd turn out in Robstown.

Wonder if the Lytle folks will have fajita wraps??? I talked a Robstown Booster member doing the cooking out of a beef rib before the game last night. Good folks over there!!!

How did Sinton end up as the #2 seed from 30-3A when they defeated Orange Grove?Seeding in a 3 way tie is settled by positive points to sort out the final district standings.

Sinton:
Ingleside 35 Sinton 23=-12
Sinton 35 Orange Grove 27=+8
Total of -4

Orange Grove:
Sinton 35 Orange Grove 27=-8
Orange Grove 40 Ingleside 35=+5
Total of -3

Ingleside finished with +7

So for playoff purposes the standings finished like this:
1.Ingleside
2.Orange Grove
3.Sinton
4.Rockport Fulton

Top 3 finished as tri champs for the 2nd straight season

I have no idea what kind of team Lytle has, but they won district and will be at home. Hopefully our boys will be ready to play. They don't seem to play very well when having to be on a bus for more than 2 hours :eek: :rolleyes:

When Sinton is clicking they are unstoppable. The passing game has not been the staple of the offense as in years past. But Tyler can still sling it when he wants to. The defense has improved the last few games as well.

D29 worst 3A district in football this year, in Texas. D30 will sweep, and not a single game will be close. You know your in trouble when Pearsall makes the playoffs, and the likes of Natalia scores on ya. What in the world has happened to the Warhorses? How long will this district be down?:doh:

I sure hope some one kept count of how many penalty flags were thrown last night. It was flipping crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It wasn't just on Sinton either. Lytle had their share of bad calls against them as well. Had to be one of the worst officiating crews I have ever seen.

24 fouls total, 15 of which were false starts or offside. 24 minus 15 = 9. Good luck to coach Allen and the Pirates next week...

Had a touch down call back cause of unsportsmanlike like conduct. The runner held the ball in one hand as he went across the goal line...???

And they "bad crew" were calling false starts before the line was even getting set. ???? As I said. BAD crew!!!

And as I mentioned above... It was bad for both teams...
