This team could easily be 7-3 losing close ones to Columbus and Sinton and getting rained out for Edna despite injuries early on. It is remarkable that with all the adversity from injuries to key starters at the outset of the season they were able to come back and hang in there to get the 3 big wins in our district. There win over Cuero best defines this team. Cuero is a quality football team and Yoakum beat them going away. If Yoakum continues to play at the level they have reached last night they could be a big surprise in their D2 R4 bracket. Keep an eye on this team. Columbus will have their hands full trying to get a second win over the Bulldogs and knowing Coach Valastro the Cardinals will not take them lightly.
