Heard from a friend that Tiger coach Tim Finn said he would like to play his first playoff game next Thursday instead of on Friday.

Interesting. Any particular reason why? School functions, etc.?

Probably so he can secure a stadium and officials. Smart.

He better hope that he wins the toss. I dont know too many coaches that would love that idea.

First few rounds, pretty common.

I know it happens from time to time, but I dont know if I would say common. I can honestly say that I've not seen any surrounding schools elect to play on a Thursday. I guess adding 1 more team from each district will make it tougher to manage weekend games.

Yeah. I'm sure he is wanting Victoria Memorial Stadium in that first round?

If Yoakum beats Giddings they play Cuero. If Giddings beats Yoakum they play winner of Cuero - La Grange game.

Is Wharton top seed D2. If Yoakum beats Giddings and Lagrange
beats Cuero then Yoakum would be top seed D2 because of there win overCuero
and would play 2nd seed in D25. Lots of playoff seeding in Lagrannge and
Giddings tonite.Eyes on both towns.

Wondering if the bye week will inspire wharton.

I've been bragging on their senior class leadership.

Well, it's time to lead.

Running game is in the toilet and the run defense is on the rim bowl waiting to dive in.

Hopeful that some rebirth has occurred.

Cuero's #20 D'Anthony Hawkins is a beast. He will chew up the field on Wharton. If Cuero gets their passing game on line they will be hard to beat.

So I wonder where the El Campo La Grange game will be played? Hope it isn't in Houston.
