Those of you who have been around the Downlow for awhile you may remember coxjj (John Cox) of Needville. He hasn't been on the Downlow much for the last few years due to his battle with ALS. I just learned from his daughter that he lost his battle with ALS today. His last post came on 07-17-2013

Oh no :-( if he is the guy I'm thinking about he kept the books for the softball team. Met him in Shiner the year Sinton faced off against them :( may he RIP prayers to his family

It was him, or at least it used to be him. Not sure if he did it this past season as I did not attend our softball game with Needville.
