Wharton - Needs Week 1 game
Tuloso Midway (4A) - Needs ZERO Week scrimmage
Gainesville - Needs Week 0 or 1 game. Travel would kill, though.
Marble Falls (4A) - Needs ZERO Week game. (a lil' payback from 1992 perhaps?)
Rice Consolidated - Needs Week 1 game. Region IV State Quarterfinal rematch anyone?
Gatesville - Needs Week 1 game.
Navasota - Needs Week 1 game.
China Spring - Needs ZERO Week game.
Vidor (4A) - Needs ZERO Week game.
Killeen Shoemaker (4A) - Needs a Week 1 game. Didn't Burnet beat them up pretty good?

Call Gainesville and play them at RRISD Stadium in Round Rock. Wouldn't that be equal enough distance? :D

I think it would be cool to play Gainesville, but i'm not sure what kind of schedule our coach is wanting.

We do have a 5A team on the schedule (Los Fresnos) but the only reason that is being played is because it's been a 50+ year rivalry known as "The Battle of Highway 100", Port Isabel and Los Fresnos are the only two towns on Highway 100.

Personally, i'd love to see a Port Isabel/Wharton matchup, or Port Isabel/Rice Consolidated again. Playing China Spring could be fun too.

Well, looks like the Roark man had enough of Port Isabel, and according to another thread, Rice has already filled it's schedule.....such a shame too.
