Lol.... Yeah...

But, a good hire. Ausmus was never the best player, but his mind and work ethic is what got him to be a long time major league catcher. He knew pitchers, he knew hitters, he knew strategy and that aspect of the game. I think he'll be a good manager.

When it was announced that Leyland was stepping down, mt first thought was please don't hire Dusty Baker, Ozzie Guillen or Bobby Valentine
because they bring unwanted and mostly negative attention with them wherever they end up. Well, it seems Detroit went in the completely
opposite direction with this hire. Ausmus is being given the keys to a pretty nice ride. I just hope he doesn't wreck it.
