Lampasas has been gaining momentum these past few weeks. They have put up 145 points in district play, but given up 159 points. Clearly they can move the ball in their run first offense - Wing T plus some spread mixed in. LH has scored 99 points in the first three games of district, but only given up 48 points across those three games. Badgers need a win to secure a playoff spot so they will be hungry and going all out. The game is in LH, so panthers have home field advantage.

Would be surprised if Lampasas can hang through the 3rd quarter.

Jerry Vance said he had a lot of respect for Lampasas coach Emerson, saying "I knew Coach Emerson would do really good things up at Lampasas."

That said - don't think Vance, defensive coordinator Jimmy Duncan and the Panthers won't be ready. Lampasas has been VERY impressive during district so give them all the kudos they deserve...Still...

Give me the Panthers, 42-31.

I would hope the defense doesn't give up 31 points!

I've been extremely impressed with some of the things that this LH Defense has done this year. There has been several dives that they had to stop or the game could have ended in a different outcome.

In Wimberley after a fake punt went wrong the LH Defense dame up huge with almost no time on the clock to stop the Texans. Against Brownwood after a turnover on downs deep in our own territory the Panther D got the ball back...and this past Friday the Panther defense got a huge deflection and Int to seal the deal against Bwood.

The D is only giving up 2 TD's per game...and I don't expect Lampasas to score much over that.

Been facing almost all pass first, run second based offenses. Now will face a run first, pass second offense. Time to switch gears and strap it on for the middle 6 on D.
