For all you District 4 folks. Have fun

Wylie needs to hang onto the ball and the receivers need to stop dropping those passes that hits them in their hands and chest.

Snyder is going to be a hand full for Wylie. They have lost all their games with just needing to get it done without mistakes.

Going to be a close scoring game!

There are many problems with Wylie in my opinion. The first being that you don't have defend downfield against them and can stack the box to defend the run and screens. There is an accuracy issue for any pass thrown more than 10 yards. Will be a tight game IMO.

That's what I have been thinking all week. I remember when this game would have at least 10 pages.

All the Snyder posters have collected all their Cline Shale bonus money and are off somewhere drinking umbrella drinks. Probably all of them are in Tahiti.

Curious to see just how much all that effects Sweetwater, Colorado City, Snyder and the surrounding area. It's already begun here in Sweetwater with the
community taking steps to prepare but I don't care about who is going to get rich. I just want the area to see some substantial growth and especially Sweetwater.

OK--my take... Snyder will blitz like crazy to try and rattle our passing game because they do not respect our downfield passing (don't blame them it has struggled). Greenwood tried the same thing and we burned them with screens and draws. Wylie's D has really come together and is playing well and I think will shut the Tiggers down. Wylie 21-10 in a slugfest.
On the overall, our season has been up and own--can't stay with top tier teams for 4 quarters (Argyle, Graham), had one just miserable performance (Monahans) that we'd rather forget, beat the teams we should have. Defense has really come along, offense cranks it up at times and then makes too many mistakes. Injuries (have lost 3 starting linemen and our top reciever to season ending knee injuries) have hurt and prevented the offense from running smoothly. Still the kids have kept fighting and still have the ability to make some noise in the playoffs if the underclassmen that have stepped up continue to improve. With a little luck I can see us getting to the DI Region 1 finals to face Stephenville. We'll see...

If you look at common opponents, you would say Wylie wins this one, except for Monahans. HHmmmmm. Monahans seems to be considerably more successful at home than on the road. Maybe Wylie needs to employ their special officials this week. Maybe garcia can get a hold of them.

Maybe Wylie needs to employ their special officials this week. Maybe garcia can get a hold of them. That's because Monahans can summon the weather gods whenever necessary at home (like a 40 mph north wind, blowing dirt cloud and 30 degree temperature drop on demand). Not so successful on the road. That's why I pick Big Spring to upend them in the regular season finale...

A few observations: Snyder is much better than their record would indicate--figured they would be... not sure why the coach doesn't let the QB throw more. If they did they would likely be 7-2 or 6-3 right now. Thought our team showed great poise in the second half and really stepped it up after being behind at half 16-13 to shut them down in the second half. Our QB had his best game of the year, maybe not statisticly but his poise, leadership and gutsy play was a big part of the win tonight. I was also really glad to see our underclassmen seeing action on the O-line with all the injuries really step it up and play well, great blocking. Overall very good team win... keep it up Bulldogs.
