Sounds like the Alphonso coach knew what he was talking about when he said they were worse than last years team. Go Eagles.

Woodville lost to 2A Hemphill--not sure of final score...I think it was 31-6.

Coach Upshaw is great...heard on the radio tonight that since he has been in Hemphill (this is his fifth season) they have never lost a game at Hornet stadium. Before he came to Hemphill, the Hornets were NEVER known for football. Now look at them...Ranked 8 in state, and they are probably in the toughest 2A district in the state, with Alto and Garrison both in this district.
